Toward the end of April, this year, Pam Rose (Director of the Learning Center) served as an interviewer in selecting the team of “Archers.” These are students carefully chosen to participate on the student, staff, faculty teams who assist First Year students in the ARCH orientation programs in June and August. Archers must be familiar with all aspects of a Wooster education and be able to articulate the relevance and benefits of the liberal arts and how it can translate into life after college. One of our questions to potential Archers was “Quick – what’s a word that expresses your favorite thing about Wooster?” “APEX,” said one student. “It’s the place you can go and get almost any question answered and hear more suggestions than you ever imagined for what you need to be thinking of next. Then they make you follow through!”
A place to help you answer “What’s next?”
