David Brew ’14, a student with no previous connection to the Entrepreneurship Office, was invited to attend an informal discussion hosted by the E-Club with visiting speaker, Howard Putnam. This session was held in the afternoon in APEX. After that meeting, David became interested in entrepreneurship and began to attend some E-Club meetings. His interest developed into a desire to start a company on campus and seek a summer internship working on market evaluations for new companies. He will be part of an AMRE team (first begun by John Ramsay, Director of APEX and professor of mathematics) led by Peter Abramo, the Director of Entrepreneurship, assessing market opportunities for new agbioscience businesses.
